Action A1

Scoping project sites and technical planning

The Life TEAM: Simona Castaldi (SUN), Marco Bijl and Wouter Put (FSG), Paola Quatrini and Tommaso La Mantia (UNIPA)  visited the Sicilian partners’ sites for the pre-scoping action (A1) of the project.

This activity belongs the the group of actions A, i.e. preparatory actions for for the correct development of the ‘Desertification Adaptation Model’ which will be consolidated in Action C2.

Visiting the farm of Michele Russo, associated member of the consortium Legallinefelici located in the area of Caltagirone

24 September: SAFT - SOCIETA AGRICOLA FRANCO TURCO (L3)

Visiting the land of SAFT located in the area of Enna

Visiting the farm and greenhouses of Francesco Matraxia located in the area of Caltanisetta

26 September: MUNICIPALITÀ DI LAMPEDUSA E LINOSA (L1)

After flying to the Island of Lampedusa and after the welcome of the Major Salvatore Martello and his staff, we were guided by Giovanni Sorrentino to visit the sites of the Lampedusa island previously chosen to implement the project.
